We would like to maintain service levels to you in case of breakdowns. If CBM can schedule break-out services it really helps us to handle those emergency situations better. Thank You! Dock Boxes for Rent - Take advantage of "dock boxes for rent" located conveniently along wash rack row. See Larry in Storage for details. Requesting Address & Phone Update - CBM is requesting phone number and address updates from everyone. We have recently noticed that a higher percentage of customer information is outdated & inaccurate. Please help us and verify your current information. Thank you in advance! Updates Renovated Restrooms - The Taj Mahal is finished! I am referring to our newly renovated restrooms. We put in all brand new tile, fixtures and plumbing to give them a refined and elegant look. We understand the importance of clean and nice restrooms and aim to have an impeccable facility for you. We hope you enjoy the new facilities. Note: we also have a fresh water shower in-between the men's and ladies restrooms outside. Sometimes it is nice to rinse the salt off from a day of fun on the water. New Forklift - CBM has a new forklift in operation. I could quote you all of the specifics on how much it lifts, how efficient it is and how nice it looks, but I will spare you those details. We will be keeping our current Blue Marine Travel Lift fork truck and will be selling our Red Taylor fork truck. The new Wiggins fork truck along with the Marine Travel Lift offer our forklift drivers exceptional visibility when handling your boat and are both equipped with catalytic converters in order to minimize the diesel dirt. We have invested in a new fork truck in order to ensure our service levels to you! Clean Marina Designation - CBM was recently certified as a Clean Marina. Here is an excerpt from the Press Release: Marco Island, Fla. - The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will recognize Cedar Bay Marina as a 'Clean Marina' on November 21, 2002. This designation recognizes the marina for its commitment toward protecting and preserving Florida's aquatic ecosystems by implementing industry recognized best management practices. Cedar Bay Marina is the first marina on Marco Island to receive this designation. DEP's Assistant Director of Law Enforcement, Maury Kolchakian, will present a plaque and flag in recognition of the designation. Scott Hopkins and Jack Barrett will accept the designation on behalf of Cedar Bay Marina. Jack Barrett has done an excellent job at leading this effort for CBM. Insurance Changes - In the wake of 9-11 CBM has seen a drastic rise in our insurance rates and stricter regulations around customer access areas while at CBM. As a result, CBM has purchased updated signage and re-routed customer traffic. All foot traffic must remain in the yellow striped designated areas. This area leads from the observation deck straight to the dock and keeps all traffic either on the dock or in wash rack row. THERE IS NO ACCESS TO THE STORAGE BARN WITHOUT AN EMPLOYEE ESCORT! All washing and / or miscellaneous boat work must be completed on outside wash racks. We appreciate your help in this area.
